What I Read to Spark the feels:
Roomies By Sara Zarr & Tara Altebrando
Over the past month I've reconnected and spent a lot of time with old friends and new friends and I've come to the realization that I'm sort of a different version of myself with each and every one of them. The book that sparked my thoughts on this is titled Roomies and it was a new addition to my book shelf last week. Some of you have said some great things about the book so I'm pretty excited to read it - whenever I get to it! Back to the topic of my multiple-persona with friends, it would have bothered me back in high school to see that I'm 'different' with different people but now that I'm older I see it as each person brings out a different side of me. If I were to be the SAME person with everyone I know and meet, it would be boring right? I am the type of person who has a group of friends for certain things - a group of friends that I talk serious life/career stuff with, a group of friends that I go on foodie adventures with etc etc. What are your thoughts on the company you keep? Are you similar in that you notice yourself confiding in certain people about certain topics? I want to know if this comes across as 'fake' to others.
