You're high school experience really makes me think about whether or not it's healthy to promote YA stories that exude this high school 'stereotype'.

I guess I'm always going to wondering about the high school life of any teen anywhere around the world. Good & Bad! It's such a crucial milestone is a lot of our lives and everyone has their take on it. Thank you for the love & stopping by to share your thoughts! ;)Sherry Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01654183706128194806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1672230430669324577.post-60366699480739662572015-05-08T01:23:23.569-04:002015-05-08T01:23:23.569-04:00Wow, this is a REALLY great point! My high school ...Wow, this is a REALLY great point! My high school was absolutely nothing like the cliched high schools of YA. Everyone just liked each other, for the most part. Sure, there were closer groups, and more popular groups, but no one was really ever mean, and everyone just coexisted very nicely. I can honestly say that high school was one of the most positive experiences of my life.

That said, I am sure some experiences aren't as wonderful, and that these difficult situations DO happen, but it definitely isn't the ONLY experience! Fabulous post idea, I think this is so, so important!

Shannon @ It Starts At Midnight Shannon @ It Starts at Midnighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10043593641190645773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1672230430669324577.post-3523709002206605812015-05-06T09:23:46.250-04:002015-05-06T09:23:46.250-04:00You could not have explained it any better than yo...You could not have explained it any better than you just did! I went through high school very confused. I had an idea of what it could be like from all the reading but reality was so different. I grew up in a suburb outside of Toronto Canada and the school system varied from that of the American high school I guess. I would love to hear what an american teen who went to an American high school has to say about this topic!
Being out of high school now - third year University - I think I got to know myself better in the last year than ever in high school. So I hope wherever you are in your life you never really lose the drive to keep finding yourself - don't let those high school pressures keep you from doing anything!

Much Thanks for joining in on TT&T ♥ Sherry Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01654183706128194806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1672230430669324577.post-6511906478165198352015-05-05T19:33:49.372-04:002015-05-05T19:33:49.372-04:00I can definitely relate to this!

I had a lot of expectations about how high school would be, but not many of them actually happened.Sabrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762635239865326562noreply@blogger.com
